HD Bolts
Overview
HD Bolts are Hollow Dynamic Bolts specifically designed for use with resin capsules in areas where significant rock mass deformation or seismicity is anticipated. HD Bolt provides superior initial support stiffness, followed by significant post-yield ductility to control deforming ground and absorb seismic energy. Each bolt features a residual capacity indicator that visually estimates how much of the bolts elongation capacity has been consumed and how much remains, so that the remaining useful life of the bolt can be estimated and replacement of the bolt can be planned only when required.
