TamSeal TG91
Overview
TamSeal TG91 (driving grade) is a plant oil-based tail sealant specifically developed using renewable plant-based oils offering technology advancement with improved consumption, performance and technical characteristics. TamSeal TG91 supersedes the existing TamSeal TG11 grade. The spread-ability, coating behaviour and compressibility of the material have been optimised through vigorous testing to mitigate wire brush leaks, even through sharp changes in tunnel alignment and certain types of brush damage. The material is inert, biodegradable, self-extinguishing and will not leach or mix into any type of soil offering the industry with an environmentally friendly alternative to the traditional hydrocarbon systems.
